Vendor Criteria

Before we will even consider a product for sale on our site, the product's vendor must be approved by our Product Advisory Board.  We believe that even a product made with the best of intentions may fall short if it is not supported by a solid foundation. Our Vendor Review Process takes into account such criteria as:

  • Corporate History - Does the company have a history of sound business practices and good product quality.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices - Does the company utilize a facility to manufacture their products that follows Good Manufacturing Practices?
  • Documented Quality Control Procedures - Does the company test their products to insure that what is on the label is in the product?
  • Regulatory Compliance - Is the company compliant with appropriate regulatory bodies?
In addition, we believe that the only way to truly build a long term relationship with a vendor is to spend time together and review their operations.  Because of this, our Management and Advisory Board actively participate in industry related events such as trade shows, conferences and educational seminars as well as visiting key partners to ensure that our standards are continually being met.

New Product Criteria

We do not believe that health is a popularity contest, it is far too important and too individual to merely run with the crowd.  Nor do we believe that best selling necessarily means best quality.

You have enough decisions to make about your health, one decision you won't have to make with us is determining whether or not you can trust the products we make available.  Each and every product we offer has been evaluated by our Product Advisory Board based upon the following criteria:
  • Vendor / Manufacturer Approval - Each vendor whose products we carry is reviewed by our Product Advisory Board and must be approved before we review their products.
  • Ingredient Review - Product ingredients are reviewed to ensure that the products are viable and relevant and are acceptable to the Product Advisory Board.
  • Quality Control Testing - Each formula must be supported by the appropriate Quality Control documentation to ensure label accuracy and safety.
  • Product Claims Review - Each label is reviewed for inappropriate claims.
  • Random Products Testing - We randomly select products for additional quality control testing by an outside laboratory.
**Certain manufacturers set the minimum sales price for their products, which price may be above wholesale.  We sell these products at the lowest price permitted by the manufacturer.
